Insurance Didn't Pay And I Got Served

I got into an accident almost a year ago and my insurance still hasn't paid what they were supposed to and now I'm getting a summons into court. I know I was covered and I know that the injuries and car damages were covered and didn't exceed the limits my insurance set. I've contacted my agent and the case worker a dozen time or more asking for information and after a while they stopped returning my calls. They say they haven't gotten all the information, which I personally sent myself, and have neglected their duties. I don't know what to do and I'm so stressed out from the mess that I can't even get myself straightened out. I thought nine months ago this was water under the bridge. In a short, unemotional way of saying this....HELP! What steps do I have to take to get the other driver's insurance paid?
